The inspiration for the brand came from Kelly studying at the UK renowned Fashion Retail Academy in London, street culture and musicians. Kelly wanted to have an original brand with unique designs. Rock ‘n’ Needle is inspired by tattoos and rock ‘n’ roll culture which is evident in the embroidered imagery on the clothing. Signature pieces such as the t-shirt dresses with skulls, stars, birds and flowers characterise
